October 24, 201114 yr I keep getting this and don't know how to fix it...Also, when you turn the PRES. MODE SELECTOR switch from AUTO to MANUAL, how do you know how much to let into the aircraft? How do you DON THE OXYGEN masks?cheers! Marc M.
October 24, 201114 yr To use manual setting of the pressurization you need to feel it with your body, continously ceck it on the overhead panel gauges, and you need to do continously, probably is nearly impossible to do for an entire flight if you are alone. On the left of te pressurization panel there are 2 gauges, one big an one small. The big one gives you cabin altitude and differential pressure, the other one will give you the cabin rate of climb. You must mantain te cabin rate to safe limit, it is better to mantain at around 500fpm or similar. Never pass 8.2/8.4 psi of differential pressure and be sure that cabin and external pressure are equalized before landing. Regards Andrea Daviero
October 24, 201114 yr Make sure that both engine bleeds are on. If they arnt then the plane wont get any air. The switches are right next to te APU bleed Robert Shedd
October 25, 201114 yr Author Done all that, most likely a failure but it is then realistic :)How do I know how much to use the outflow valve? Marc M.
October 25, 201114 yr Author Haha, thanks mate...Luckily I printed out all 452 pages of the QRH so I did everything correctly but now I know how to do more things correctly :) cheers! Marc M.
