The moon

Recommended Posts

Hi,our pretty satellite is pretty messed up in FS9, as you can see here (full moon so close to the sun is quite impossible):so I went and did a bit of research if the phases can be set right. I came up with a sort of a solution. If anybody wants to try it, here's what I did...- make a backup of all moon textures in <Main FS folder>\Texture in case you want to go back- rename the moon texture files like this:moonfull.bmp -> moonwxcr.bmpmoonwngb.bmp -> moon1st.bmpmoonlast.bmp -> moonwxgb.bmpmoonwncr.bmp -> moonfull.bmpmoonwxcr.bmp -> moonwngb.bmpmoon1st.bmp -> moonlast.bmpmoonwxgb.bmp -> moonwncr.bmpResult is the thin crescent, a few days before the New Moon. As it should be:There is still a gap of 14 days when there is no moon in the sky at all; I have no clue why. I checked through five cycles and even they are not always the same. Still, it's an improvement. Sort of... smile.pngRegards,Jure

Dimi,I am using REX True Blue and modified ENBseries bloom. I modified the COLORCORRECTION section to tone down colour saturation (among other things :() I tried different sky textures but keep on coming back to this combination.Regards,Jure
