Exclude doesn't work

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was making a scenery with fsxkml which included excludes. I was then using Windows XP 32. I upgraded to Windows 7 64, and now the excludes don't work anymore. any ideas?

Not without more informaton. What type of exclusion and when you say it does not work I assume you mean that the objects you are trying to exclude still show up.

The scenery is of a river and the exclude is for streams, roads, shoreline and waterpoly. It worked fine when I had XP but not in 7, I am running FSX as an admin.

Hello Cativo, scenery and excludes were working before you upgraded from XP to W7/64 ?It should not matter, which OS you use to run FSX. FSX is interpreting and displaying the scenery files, not the OS.Is FSX and scenery new installed after the OS upgrade?I would check, if all scenery and exclude files of your scenery are still there and included in FSX and I would possibly check the order of scenery layers.
