Thanks for the help, I neglected to delete d3d.dll and that was causing the problem.

FSX became unstable after using this so I removed the files but now FSX won't start without injFX_Shaders. Any ideas?

manual or auto-install? I use the auto-install and have never had a problem. I don't have the landclass because I have UTX and scenerytech.

I upgrade from a gts 520 to gtx 560, not ti, and I haven't seen any spikes since. I also have a i7 920 but I only overclocked to 2.8ghz. Have you tried lowering some of the settings?

Level D 767 for FSX.

The scenery is of a river and the exclude is for streams, roads, shoreline and waterpoly. It worked fine when I had XP but not in 7, I am running FSX as an admin.

Hi, I was making a scenery with fsxkml which included excludes. I was then using Windows XP 32. I upgraded to Windows 7 64, and now the excludes don't work anymore. any ideas?

I'm flying with FSPassengerX, using Wilco 734. My last flight should have been from KHRL to KSAN but had an engine failure with thirty minutes to go. Had to declare an emergency and land at KGBN.

Thanks for the link, I *think* I found the culprit. Printer software that apparently checks the status every hour or so, plus I disabled other automatic updated I didn't know I had on. Hopefully this is it. Thanks again!
