November 16, 201114 yr Author Hi Tom, My airport files were all put in it's own folder in the addon scenery folder and added to the scenery library. This was way above the FSGlobal layer. I've tried all sorts of combinations in the scenery library and moving/copying Afcad/Traffic files to different locations within FS9 but still ended up with the same outcome. It must be something I've done or missed as this ONLY happends at the airport I made, all Ai leaving my airport (At Ground Level)and landing at another airport lands on the runway at ground level with FSGlobal installed. Any Ai leaving another airport at ground level lands above the ground at my airport untill I unistalled FSGlobal and adjusted the default terrain level in Afcad and flatten.Regards, Jerry.
November 16, 201114 yr I believe flattens trump mesh regardless of Scenery Library priority.Do you have any addons in close proximity to your newly created airport? If so, what is the elevation of that airport, compared to your airport?regards,Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
November 17, 201114 yr Author In reply to your question Joe my Airport is smack bang in the middle of addon central, with RAF/USAF bases at Mildenhall, Marham, Honington and Lakenheath being the nearest at about 3 miles. Makes for some interesting flying as all have Ai flights. Any how, I've had one more go at this and I've re-installed FSGlobal, leaving my airport ground level unchanged and guess what, all my Ai take off AND land at ground level, no more floating in the air when landing If only I'd done that to begin with. So I guess this is now resolved. So to every one who gave advice to me I would like to thank you.Jerry.PS. I'm not even going to ask how.............
