October 30, 201114 yr Hi guys, after I´ve successfully solved the sound problem with the Wilco Airbus volume 1, a new problem has shown up: The cockpit textures aren´t transparent. Ther´re either blue-ish or totaly black. From the inside thge view a as normal. I´ve applied the newest service pack 1e. Has someone an idea? I would like to fly the A318 again.Btw. I´ve also the volume 2 installed and they´re showing up correctly. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
October 30, 201114 yr This is a known fault with the Wilco Airbus Vol 1. Vol 2 is fine. Unfortunately the models are ported from fs2004 and converted to fsx models but don't contain all the necessary transparency details for the textures to allow transparency. Everything was fine until SP2/Acceleration came along and effectively stopped some of the transparency methods that older models were using. Namely to use the Alpha channel in the textures to display transparency for windows etc.You can install the evolution upgrade which contains the fixed models or you can send me a personal message with your email address and I'll send you a patch to make the windows transparent again.Ed.
