October 31, 201114 yr I just received a new PC with Windows 7 on it. Installed FSX, SP1 and SP2 per the PMDG instructions (not in \programs folder and running FSX after each phase of the installation).Then I installed the 737NGX. Started FSX and selected the 737-800 PMDG. Answered the a couple of "Do you want to run this" questions. The up comes anther One of the "run this" question and immediately the PMDG activator dialog box pops up covering the FSX question. I try to enter my license code but after I try the first character it disappears. I also cannot move the PMDG dialog box to answer the FSX run this question.Using task manager I see there are 20 or more "PMDG activate" and "online Activation" tasks running. So the PMDG dialog box is looping creating new tasks.How do I get past the FSX "Run this" question and enter my License code for the 737NGX?michael
October 31, 201114 yr Did you launch FSX in 'run as administrator'? This can help solve problems by letting FSX make changes to your system without Windows security blocking it.Brett Brett Williamson

October 31, 201114 yr Author Yes to both previous replies.I opened a support ticket. Got the fix from support very quickly and downloaded it a little while ago.(Not sure if I can post the response from PMDG to my ticket in this forum so I won't for now.)Thank you to PMDG support for a quick response!
October 31, 201114 yr However, activation with PMDG is a pain in the back. Their question regarding the activation number did not fit in the past to any that have been submitted. Why don't they just take the same names? The products are great but this bothered me each time I re-installed the software. Regards,Axel
October 31, 201114 yr I am having the same problems. Everytime I load the 737-6/700, it asks me for my activation key. Everytime I exit flight back to FS main, it asks me again for the activation key.I suppose I should open a ticket as well? Shouldn't there be a blanket fix for this?
