October 31, 201114 yr Hi,I downloaded the -600 painkit today (10/31/2011, 14.31 UTC) which already has the fixes in it.However, using the red, blue and yellow -600 paint regions to split up any artwork that crosses these boundaries results in something that does not match up in the FSX model.I compared with the PMDG -600 house livery .dds files and found each of those paint regions still a couple of pixels off, and with the help of the house livery .dds files I could align my artwork properly and bring the paint regions to the correct sizes for any further work. The paintkit responsible might want to have another look at the -600 paintkit in that regard.Thank youDave Dave P. November 1, 201114 yr Author I have the same problem. So I can't finish my repaint.Well, you can. Just do like I described above and use the .dds files of the PMDG house livery for reference where the paint regions (the "cuts") should be.It's not impossible, but tedious, and the paintkit definitely needs to be fixed.I've also found another issue:When using the fuselage curve template, I get a weird "dent" on the left side right behind the wing with the -600, although everything looks fine in the .psd file. I just used exactly the sections given by the fuselage curve template. Strange enough, the right side doesn't show the misalignment and looks perfect. Dave P. Woycek

November 7, 201114 yr Author same failure when painting an Austrian Airlines B736 I had to improvise, that it looks good.So I'm not the only one seeing this on the -600.It kind of sucks working around such things with a lot of trial and error, but at least there is a paintkit at all. Dave P. Woycek

November 8, 201114 yr Author Works fine for me....Hmm .. no dent in that left rear section, near to where the wing joins with the fuselage? How did you create your .dds files? At what point of time did you download the paintkit? Dave P. Woycek
November 13, 201114 yr Author Tried with the latest paintkit (Nov 11 2011). The colored sections have been adapted, but still the misalignment on the left side remains. This appears to be a problem in the 3D model rather than in the paintkit, because the .dds files look good, but it turns out that the sections do not get properly aligned when rendering the model in FSX.PMDG, are you looking into this? Just a brief "yes" or "no" would suffice. Dave P. Woycek
