Offsets are used in China quite often and some in the rest of Asia. Not so much in the USA. Europe, I don't know. Matt Cee
November 2, 201114 yr In my ops we use it when operating in places with questionable ATC procedures or non radar areas like the NATS, Africa, and the pacific ocean region. Most places in Europe with high traffic volume have trustworthy radar coverage. In the USA and Europe, traffic is closely monitored so no big reason to offset. Rick D http://g5flyer.tumblr.com/
November 2, 201114 yr Cheers...Offsets I see regularly here overhead... sometimes up to 10nm... parallel tracks of aircraft in close succession... and directly overhead, so it is not the angle of different FL...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
