HGS Display small

Featured Replies

HelloI bought the 600/700 NGX expansion pack and realized that the letters and graphics in the HGS display are much smaller than I was used to inn the 800 NGX. Is this normal? I use the same settings as with the 800 NGX and here everything is legible quite easily, whereas in the 700 it is much harder as it is smaller.I attached a screenshot of the 700 hgs.

What do you mean by "same settings"? If you use a higher zoom-factor, the size of the projection should increase.

Zooming in would only make the combiner bigger, not the projected display. I'd say try zooming out a bit but you're already pretty far back...EDIT: just for kicks, try setting wideviewaspect to false & see what it looks like. That makes mine incredibly huge.

Moving the point of view closer or further away changes the size of the combiner whereas changing the field of view (=zooming) will change the size of the projection. By zooming in I mean a higher zoom factor and thus narrower field of view.
