anybody throttle problems?

Featured Replies

I am not sure if anybody of you is experiencing simular throttle problems. I have intsalled following: FSX - PMDG 737- 8900 NGX - HotFiX - SP1 - PMDG 737-6700. When using the throttle at my joystick it responds in a very strange way. I usually start the FSX with the airplane ready to go, with throttle in idle position. When trying to adjust throttle to 40% N1, carefull touch, it speeds up to full throttle and even more. When trying to reduse throttle to idle I only get down to 60%. I need to use F1 on the keybord to get to "idle". This problems makes flying out of the question.gura75

Sounds like a calibration issue.
I agree. I wonder if one can calibrate the throttle. gura75

My throttle CH products was perfect in the first release !With the SP1 I cannot down it under 40 % !It is not managed by FSX but by FSUIPC and many times calibrated. Only "F1" can retain it on 20 %.Strong help is needed. Thanks

Wait...Are you saying you're putting the Autothrottle on, and then advancing to full throttle manually, without using TO/GA? Or are you using TO/GA and setting your throttles at full? What is your AT override setting in the PMDG Options?

I have no problem with the Autothottle . When the yoke lever is set to the minimum, engines are 40 % and runnings the taxiway iimpossible.
