ASE/FSX/WXupdatees=FMC lockout?I am new to ASE .. on my networked PC.DWC.During WX updates I cannot mouse click my FMC keys.Any idea what causes this?

Hello,I've never heard of that. DWC is constant weather updates to the sim occurring at about 3 times per second. So if this were true then you would not ever be able to access your FMC. Do you mean weather downloads? Maybe if you could provide more details we could help identify something.

Can you try disabling in-sim text messages (ASE options) and see if the message itself is causing this?

Yes, I will try it. Disable single line messages in FSUIPC.But, it is "during" the update that I have the problem.Then the message appears.Then FMC works ok.

OK,Disabled Multiline / single line messages in fsuipc.When PMDGNGX starts up I still get the green bar at the top of the screen with PMDG's countdown (startup).Later I also got the green bar message .. ASE updated.Fmc was working prior to it ... so I really do not know what's up at the moment.

Sorry, I meant the option within ASE, not FSUIPC. "Enable in-sim text messages" I believe is what it is called.
