Hi there,I've used Radar Contact for quite some time now, since yesterday I am experiencing a strange thing.I used to start my flights from EDDM, and ATIS always announced both runways (26 R and L, or 8 R and L) in use.Now every time I start a flight Radar Contact ATIS only has one runway opened, sometimes I can hear the MSFS ATIS in the background which hasboth runways opened. Your runway data looks good. I also noticed as an aside that the back course is turned on for the ILSs which while it will not affect in this case your aircraft ILS landing display ideally it should be turned off it does not affect RC. It would require ADE9X or AFX to change this. That problem occurs with FS default airports. I also checked that the current charts from Eurocontrol match the ILS frequencies in r4.csv. This is just an aside.First, to avoid confusion, I recommend turning down the FS audio slider in its sound setup for ATC to avoid confusion. If you hear other ATC voices besides RC's AI voice look at any add-ons such as aismooth and turn their ATC voice options off.Here's a test you can run. Load a parked aircraft flight with the clear weather theme at EDDM. Then load a plan into RC originating at EDDM. In FS turn your AI Traffic density down to zero to turn it off. See what RC ATIS then announces. This removes the effect of RC looking at AI for deciding runway priority. I do not think that should affect ATIS but let's be sure. If both runways are not announced then 8L or 26L might be announced as that is their priority in the way that they are listed in r4.csv. This test should be run without additional add-on applications.For the runway chosen by RC for departure that is the closest suitable runway to your parking position.Please post your results.

Thanks for your quick response,I can hear the default MSFS ATIS only occasionally and it doesn't bother me much, I also have AI chatter activated within RC wouldn't that be disabled as well by muting FS ATC? I don't have AIsmooth or similar tools installed.My test run was disabling complete traffic within Ultimate Traffic 2 setup tool and shutting down ASE. After that I set the weather within FSX to clear sky, loaded my flightplan and started the flight itself. Then I did start RC and went to fullscreen MSFS. RC4 ATIS still had only one runway in use."For the runway chosen by RC for departure that is the closest suitable runway to your parking position." I was never bothered by this ;)Regards,MArkus

ok little update, this is not limited to EDDM. Got an update for EDDF with the new runway from aerosoft, ran makerunways after the installation.MSFS ATIS announces runways 7L 7C and 7R in use. Radar contact ATIS only has 7C open ...

AI Chatter is correct for hearing controllers communications with AI present and on the same frequency.Can we see the r4.csv entries pasted in a reply?I call jd's attention to this.

i don't know what/how ms atis uses to decide runways in use. frankly, it doesn't have any bearing on rc. rc calls the active runways based on what runways rc sees beeing used by the ai.if the ai are always using 7C, then that is what's called. as soon as an ai goes to 7L or 7R, rc atis will change.this is all speculation, without a log.instructions are pinned at the top of the forum on how to make a log. duplicate the problem, send me a log. make sure you click debug BEFORE loading the .plnthen tell me what rc atis is saying about the runways that isn't correct, in the emailjd
