November 25, 201114 yr All, I blew the dust off my Tin Mouse II this past weekend to do some Island Hopping around Hawaii... The new FSDreamTeam Hawaiian Airports - sure add a great deal to the old islands... Of course the Tin Mouse is the perfect plane for these kind of flights... I'm probably still runnning 1.3x version of the panel... I used to have these planes dialed in and I could fly them well... This time - every time I engage the autopilot - they pitch up to stall... I have both the Tinmouse and Cantu models loaded - both do the same... I am pretty familiar with the autopilot use and realize pressing on the yoke controls pitch - with this model autopilot... Even with me pushing down on the yoke - I can't seem to control the climb - the only way to stop it it to aggressively hit the trim wheel - and then I over compensate... Help... It's probably something stupid on my part - any ideas what I should look at ???Regards,Scott
November 27, 201114 yr Sounds like you have a problem with your null zone on the elevator axis...any nonzero input causes a cumulative series of pitch commands.
