I'm suffering long lock-up in FSX \Gold with a scenery I purchased Bornholm X While attempting ILS approaches in the Eaglesoft Ciatation LL SPX I have by now tried twice; It has vectored me to both runways 11 and 29...ON final just before "Minimuns" it locks At first I switched off computer by hitting the switch in front of it; The second time I used Ctrl+Alt+Del...This took a long time,but eventually I got back to desktop.To restart another flight...Any suggestions; I have posted at the dzandiski scenery design forum,which is where I purchased the scenery package.

You need to check the Event Viewer and look for the error that occurred when the application hung then post the details. See what module caused the crash.Best regards,Jim

Simple to find in Win7, type Event in the search bar when you click on the start button and it will display Event Viewer in the window above. Click on that and it will take you to the event viewer.

I am way over my head on this one: The event viewer isn't the kind of thing one uses once for the first time and gets it right: So far all I got is this from the event today:The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
