Non Flashing Anti-Collision Beacon

Featured Replies

Just noticed yesterday on NGX flight that the beacon atop the fuselage was on but not flashing it was just a steady red light, any solution to this? I've tried cycling the anti-collision beacon switch on the overhead but nothing changes.Tom Helwick, Livingston, Montana

interesting comment. i have had this problem with only one model the NGX 800 with winglets paint version Jet2.com other paint models have not shown this issue.

I had the same problem as well Ryanair 737 but only sometimes not all of the time.Chris

That can happen if the NGX is not loaded correctly at the start. Example in free flight selection, if you load the NGX then reload again. I did this by accident one day when I selected the -800, went back to change flight number, pressed ok and the strobe light stayed steady.

Loading the plane overtop of itself or another complex addon can cause all kinds of animation problems like this - make sure you load the sim fresh, select 1 NGX variant and load it - don't switch between liveries or variants.
