TSS Sound Problem, with Video

Featured Replies

Since I cannot find my old post regarding that issue, I open up a new one. I now have a video to describe my problem of sounds not properly mixed and continuing when engines are shut down.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa5Im9lt-uMI changed my sound card with no effect. Anyone else got an idea? This is really a strange issue, since I seem to be almost the only one with it and on my system its almost completely independent from hardware.

What sound pack are you using from TSS?

Interesting. I have the same one and I don't have that issue but I don't have the PMDG 747. I am beginning to thing there are two issue with sound in FSX.1. What you are experiencing. I have heard that avoiding switching to fixed spot helps avoid your problem but I can't confirm that.2. What I have experienced - phasing with non-FSX native sounds. IDK what the deal is with sound in FSX Some people have issues and some don't and no one definitively knows why.

Well, the CLS default sounds on the DC-10 and 747-200, which are ported over from FS2004, do phase as well, but with them its the interior engine sound that is way too loud on idle. Seems to be a different problem though.
