December 11, 201114 yr Hey guys, up until yesterday MY FSX was set running with DX10 preview, for nearly two years now.my Screen settings were 1920x1080x32 (32Bit colors), that is my natural resolution of my screen.yesterday I decided to switch to DX9, by doing so however I can no longer pick the "x32" color at my resolution, all I have availableis "x16" (1920x1080x16). if I edit the FSX.CFG file manually replacing the "x16" with "x32" then the next time I load FSX it changes it back to x16.My question is, is that normal behavior that with DX9 in FSX you can only pick 16Bit color scheme? OK , I found the issue, it wasn't at the bottom of the resolution selection like I was used to in DX10.it was some where in the middle of the resolution selection.right at the bottom was the x16, that is why I was confused as I expected it to be right at the bottom of the resolution selection boxthanks for your Help Guys/Girls.
