December 27, 201114 yr Jim - it's called double atmospheric redundancy. I'm surprised a professional like you hasn't heard of it... One program gives you CAVU and the other gives you a blizzard. You get to practice flying VFR and marginal IFR all at the same time, while simultaneously practicing the emergency procedure for dealing with a schizophrenic episode on the flight deck. Think of it as meteorological multi-tasking... I imagine it could be quite a lot of fun once you get used to the medication :(
