Electric Hydraulic pump

Featured Replies

It seems that within FS9 the real Hydraulic power able to move the Hydraulic systems is only obtainable from engines running.looking at fs2004SDK I cannot find any parameter or event or tooltip to model an electric Hydraulic pump able for instance to move the flaps when the plane is at ramp with engines shut.I find only some fake hydraulic pumps able only to get the pressure gauges to indicate pressure but no one system can work by this pressure.I hope that somebody can give me a code of an electric hydraulic pump able to be a real hydraulic power source. Thanks Gianfranco

A quick reveiw of the Aircraft Configuration document shows this entry in the [hydraulic] section of the aircraft.cfg file. Note that you can have both engine driven and electric driven hydraulic pumps in the same aircraft: electric_pumps The number of electric hydraulic pumps the aircraft is configured with. Airbus A321( electric_pumps = 0 ) Boeing 737-800( electric_pumps = 1 )

Hi,May be off topic, only skyspirit2010 767v5 afaik:Surfaces etc. react on L:vars in the model. Now you can build a complete, "fake", hydsys with L:vars with visible effects on the plane and functional results for the flightcharacteristics. Is fun to make your own system; fs has nothing to offer.Jan
