Hi I fly with vatsim n headset. I hve hard time hearing atc. I have to hit q in order to turn sound off. Wat is best setting for sound. Through fsx or pmdg setup. Thnks

You can adjust it via the FMC by using a lower value in the Sound settings in setup.

I do not know if it works with Squawkbox but with FSinn you can simply lower the total sound of FSX in the the windows sound mixer. The "mixer" is the same thing that you use when you change the volume of the computer, but if you right click and press adjust volume or something (in win7 it is called mixer) you can drag down FSX but increase FSinn. That makes it much easier to listen.
