Fsx AND W7

Featured Replies

Before i load W7 and then load FSX im wanting to know if how to do it correctly. ive looked at the NICKN's tune up site and im a little confused.my system :2600k CPUgigabyte MB8 gigs of memory.1TB and 360HD800 watts PSh60 water cooled.what would be the best way to load FSX , i see that many are using two operating systems xp64 and W764 at least from nickn site .But before i follow his advice im wanting to use one OS W7, should i put FSX on one drive (1 TB ) and put the operating system on the smaller 360 HD.does that sound like a good idea.im gearing this computer for FSX only.So before i follw NICK:S advice am i going the right direction.Thanks..............Robert

Robert,There is nothing special to do. W7 x64 is the way to go for FSX. Follow Nick's guide on tuning FSX however I do not recommend that you use Nick's OS guide fopr W7. There is no reason to disable any aspect of W7 to run FSX.And yes, it appears your headed in the right direction (putting FSX on its own dedicated drive).Regards,Bob
