The crash when creating database mind you, also happens with me.What i'm talking about is ability to import the flightplan you are flying so it shows up on the screen inside the cockpit.I too have "ENOP" written on some of the functions in the FMC but it does show my waypoints and line of flight on the screen and also able to toggle on/off aports and other waypoints default to the Nav installation.

I use fsnav and flight planner and my flights come up on the main gauge in main panel and also on the fmc in lower panel.I just don't get anything in the fmc(I think this is the gauge in the lower panel?)when I go to Ident. It list airport, vor and something else but when i click the button for each I get INOP.I think this is where the info from NavData is supposed to be becuase I had the flight plan showing before I installed Navdata.Ron

Update,After reinstalling the NavData package (self-installed into FS2002 and moved into FS2004 (FS9NavData)) I ran the utility and when it was open I selected a folder to scan and this time it completed, updating its database.I now have all the airports, Nav beacons etc, displayed in the panel. This is from the Help file:Navigation Data can scan a drive, searching for BGL files (BAO Graphic Language), in order to extract the Navaid data contained in these files, and adds them to the database. (NDB, VOR, ILS, Airports)When you start ND, the program searches for Flight Simulator installation folder, so it will use it as the default Root path for scenery scanning. If no FS version is found on the computer, the previous field will contain the current path. You will have to specify a root path, by pressing the {Change path} button. The {Change path} button is also useful if you don

So in other words, it crashes when it searches the WHOLE harddrive for new nav data? Thats great news if it works. So what folders exactly to scan? FS9 root or just the addon sceneryscenery folder?

Update: Well I scanned the addon scenery folder only and yes, it worked without crashing :)Went into FS and tested it but it still says "INOP" on everything from Airports to NDBs and such. Oh well, at least it shows newly added NDB's and airports on the panel screen just not on the FMC.

CargoMun,If the "Inop" you refer to is on the FMC on the Pedestal, Eric does say in his panel notes that only the Flightplan option has been modelled. In the main panel I can select which options (airports, VORs, waypoints etc.) to display.Alastair
