December 20, 201114 yr Hi everyone,First of all I'll try to give my short feedback (fyi, I own &@($* since AS 6.5).To me, AS2012 is the new absolute reference about FSX weather. If you are a user of the previous versions of AS, you won't get lost, as the HiFi way of thinking the interface remains the same (even if design has been slightly modified). So what's new ? Lot of things, AS2012 documentation is online, and the list is soooo long. It is in no way a ASE 2.0-like. I'll just give some major points : graphics now cover as many aspects as competitors, and AS2012 HD clouds quality is - to me - closer to reality than its main competitor's, FSX weather bugs are now mostly sorted, and FS poor coded weather conditions have been turned around. The only "drawback": If you dive in the options, be sure to surface, there are so many ...Previous AS user or not, AS2012 is simply a must-have imho. Basic users: relax, the interface is user friendly. Hardcore simmers: enjoy, you never had so many tweak possibilities !Never owned AS ? Christmas is coming, if you can, go buy it. If you own the PMDG NGX too, your wife now has 2 more reasons to moan :)After that short off-topic, I would be interested to know if some of you would share theme options: clouds, lights, etc. I know there's no "best" theme, but some of you may have found interesting cocktails.Edit: I'm NOT afiliated in anyway with HiFi, I'm just an humble simmer, willing to give some feedback and open a post to share some themes among the AS community.Cheers,

December 20, 201114 yr Author OMG. We got a winner here.I asked myself if I should put a nota regarding that, and did not do it because I thought everyone's got a brain. Looks that I was wrong.I'M NOT AFFILIATED WITH HIFI IN ANYWAY.Go to the PMDG forum, there are 10+ pages about AS2012 feedbacks. Now if you don't have any theme to share, bye.
