KMSY possible scenery problem

Featured Replies

Has anyone other than myself downloaded Glenn Johnson's new Armstong New Orleans scenery, excellent FPS btw, and noticed the main building where the terminals connect appears to be missing textures? It appears that that building is all white. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

I'm not sure but I think that's why you need the nova, and nova gold textures. I can't find them here at this site. I know they have it the must have section over at the other site. BBjorkman CFI

I don't find this scenery easy on framerates...:-hmmm Everytime I face the main terminal my framerates take a big hit.Dillon--Dell 2.6gig 800FSB1gig SDRAMRadeon9700pro

I just downloaded this scenery too but didn't load it yet in FS2004. How accurate is the scenery? I never been to KMSY before. Can someone post screenshots of it in the screenshot forum?

I read the docs, but I don't think it mentions anything about nova textures.BTW, I have a Dell too, 2.6GHz 400FSB though, ATI 9700 Pro. I'm currently using cats 3.9. I'm getting the best performance from these drivers and I've tried the recent ones, 3.10, 4.1. I haven't tried 4.2, but all indications show no remarkable FPS improvement. I'll stick to the 3.9 until I hear otherwise.I'm on a different PC so I can't verify if nova textures are required, can someone let me know? thanks...

I downloaded it--a bit of a fps hit but nothing more than to be expected. I like it. Never been to NO (well, I have, but didn't get a good look at the airport) so can't vouch for realism, but I'll be adding NO to the airports that I fly in and out of...billg
