Suggested Video Card Settings

Featured Replies

Anyone know of or have suggested video card settings for X-Plane 10 with my equipment? I am presently using latest nvidia drivers with inspector for my FSX installation. I would prefer NOT to have to change settings for X-Plane but if I must I will adapt. I want to use both Flightsims without having to make video card setting changes. I know every system is different (even the ones that are the same) and I am only seeking suggestions in general terms. I have just about finished with my controller setup and now trying to get the best display before I start acquiring addons. Thanks

Wilbert

Hello Wilbert,I am running XP-X with a GTX470 (1.2gb), middle of the road settings ( above the default). Do have a couple of issues from time to time but I thinkyou will be just fine with your 560.Chuck

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF CPU @ 4.90GHz  32.0 GB RAM Windows 11 Home NVIDIA RTX 3080Ti 12GB Multi monitors

WD SN850 M2 2TB PSU 1000W. 360 AIO.cooling.

I dont think you will need to change anything. I have a 560 i get pretty good results with beta 6, when the optimization updates come you should be able to run it on high settings.

HDR right now makes most of the settings in inspector a moot point as most of them are only applicable with pre-processing effects and HDR is entirely post-process. This means that Anti-Aliasing on card is disabled and AF is also application-controlled only.Try the demo out and see what kind of performance you can get. The difference between demo and full product is only the time limit and scenery. The rest is entirely the same. If you decide to go with the full version, you can copy your settings from the Demo to the Full Version, as the application is the same one.

Thanks to all for responding. Since Christmas Eve I have had a terrible toothache and discovered today that it was infected and I need to take antibiaotics until next week until I get it pulled. Needless to say, I had NOT too good Christmas. I believe this also contributed to me not accurately describing my graphics card which is a GTX 580. I have already installed the full version of X-Plane since 2 weeks ago. I wanted to know the suggested inspector/graphics card suggested settings. Sorry for the previous misinformation.
