There are obvious differences between the main variants of aircraft (e.g. -200, -300, -400, etc...), but what are the more specific variant numbers? For instance, you can see variant numbers on airliners.net such as "737-291", "L-1011-385-3", or "747-267B". What do the smaller numbers mean?Thanks,boeing247
