FS Passengers X/Tire Blowout question...

Featured Replies

Posted this on the FSPX forum last week - still no answer...Is there a way to disable the tire blowout on landing in FSPX? No matter WHAT I try, I just cannot land without blowing the tires. I have practiced landing about 55 times since last week, and no matter what I do, I cannot land the PMDG 737 NGX without a blowout (only did is successfully twice). I am about ready to throw out FSPX, but I like the audio files. I can only disable the negative points aspect of a tire blowout, but it seems that it should be able to disable this annoying seemingly unrealistic feature. When I fly without FSPX, I can land fine. I do not believe it is my piloting. I believe that FSPX is just too sensitive. Does anyone know of a way to disable this? Again, no one on the FSPX forum rang in on my post last week...Thanks,Chris Catalano

I've used FSPX for years and only blown out a couple of times due to heavy landings. And I use it with the NGX so check your landings or settings.

I also fly the NGX with FSPax and have never blown my tires. I have heard this complaint before about FSPax, but the only time I've blown tires is when I land at more than -350 ft/min, and I've flown several different airplanes. Have you autolanded and still have an issue? If you have FSRecorder, you can record a landing and see what your decent rate is. Proper Vref speed, flaps settings?-Don
