can't get past registration screen

Recommended Posts

I've had an email from John regarding this issue, however it didn't solve my problem and I thought other users could benefit from the (soon to be expected) solution as well.I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on an iMac, natively via dual boot (Bootcamp). I've purchased Radar Contact 4.3, received the key as well. However I'm not able to get past the registration screen. I start RC4.exe as administrator, registration screen comes up, I copy/paste the key (or type it) and I click the button. Nothing happens for about 5 to 10 seconds. The registration window closes, no error message. When I open RC4.exe again, I'm prompted to enter key and the same happens.basically I can't get pas the registration screen. John suggested to start RC4.exe as admin, this didn't solve it. He also mentioned to define the .FLT and .WX path. However this option doesn't come up, I can't get past the registration screen.I've also added RC4.exe to the trusted files in AVG anti-virus software. Didn't work.Any ideas how to solve this?

is there a minus sign in front of the product id? did you send the minus sign as part of the product id, when you requested a key?jd

. . . also when pasting in the key be sure there are no trailing spaces after the last visible character. The cursor should rest after that last character.
