I flew the EGKK to EHAM tutorial tonight which I love because I'm learning and its fairly easy to follow, however I follow the guide to the letter, and take of 40%N1 etc etc, the auto throttles keep turning off, the altitude doesn't change levels when it's supposed to and sometimes I'm too high on approach and can't make runway. yet I've done everything the guide says! It seems to do what it wants and I have notice the throttles move but when they stop they are not level or side by side (even) one is at the top 96 N1 roughly the other is 36 N1 would anyone know what could be causing this it's so frustrating, I have Saitek quadrant. Thanks Wayne.

mis-calibration of throttles, and throttle spikes (a "natural" aspect of Saitek throttles) come to mind as possible problems in what you describe.

Yeah no worries I was thinking that might be the case what do I configure throttles through FSUIPC or FSX? Cheers

If I could remember clearly that there was an A/T Override option in the CDU, if you change this to Never, no matter how far you move your throttle, A/T Will never disengage

Yeah have that setup already thanks.
