What exactly is makerunways and what does it do? I just got RC 4.3 and when I ran the scenery rebuild it asks if I have makerunways installed. I found the program to download but is it needed to run RC properly?

it is installed when you install rcit reads your scenery files, and updates the airport and runway databases in the rc directoryjd

After installing RC4 it is recommended you update FSUIPC and makerwys. Then run the scenery rebuild again with the updated makerwys installed as some specific scenery issues have been addressed with versions later than in the distribution downloads or CDs of RC.Since the RC scenery rebuild needs to be run with any scenery changes and it asks for the full path to the FS each time, I suggest you put the path in a text file saved to your documents folder with a shortcut to it on your desktop. You can then copy the long full path from that document and paste it (usually ctrl-v) in to the RC dialog asking for the FS path.
