Just ordered it and it will arrive in 2-3 weeks (US, backordered). At first glance via the numerous videos it looks pretty impressive. Yes dumbed down in spots (autopilot comes to mind) but if flight dynamics and FPS hold up as well as they do in the videos, I think I will have lots of hours of fun flying the beautiful country of Switzerland. All for just $49.95, or the cost of many of the add-on’s for FSX now-a-days.Saw someone call it out as F U 10…I interpret that as Flight Unlimited 10. As a former beta tester and proud owner of that product from Looking Glass Studios I would have to agree. Great model. Small land space, high detail, complex in parts, simpler in others. Works for me!Not leaving FSX, just joining aeroFlyFS! Besides it will just compliment my very large collection of simulations of all types.See you in the skies over Switzerland,Braun

I used to use a simulator called MIcro Flight developed by a small outfit. The successor product is called Vehicle Simulator and simulates water craft also. The focus is very much on the physics and is particularly noticeable with regard to wave modelling and the effects of wind. It is particularly aimed at the lighter end of aviation such as gliders and microlightsI have just downloaded the demo and I am going to give it a go.http://www.hangsim.com/vsf/index.php

Doesn't look like a real contender to MS Flight or even Aerofly FS... Nice find, though: never heard of it.

Re Vehicle Simulator-Graphically it may not be as impressive as MS Flight/ Aerofly although as mentioned it does a great job of of water and wave effects. To me it has the feel of X-Plane and seems to do a better job of the flight modelling than the FS series generally does. It also provides open access for custom aircraft and scenery and there is quite a lot of this available on the website. Some nice touches include trees and vegetation that bend in the breeze.I think I am going to take the plunge and buy the licensed copy although I will still try the "freemium" when it becomes available.
