January 9, 201214 yr What is the actual, "seeable" difference between DWC and Standard depiction when flying? And one other questionwhat is the difference in flight between using "flightplan and preloading the route weather" as oppose to just use the AS2012 real weather with download every 15 minutes.ThanksPeter Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
January 10, 201214 yr what is the difference in flight between using "flightplan and preloading the route weather" as oppose to just use the AS2012 real weather with download every 15 minutes.ThanksPeterI think it is preloading the textures that most resemble the weather conditions on the route. You may also choose to load a theme which contains certain textures. Whatever textures are loaded will be the ones that are depicted during your flight. January 10, 201214 yr Author Thanks, yes I understood that is a preload of textures. But I assume that if you use real weather along the route AS2012 will also load the textures resembling the weather or no? Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1

January 10, 201214 yr Author Why would I then use this feature? Better performance because preloaded but less real? Peter Win10/64/32,0GB, [email protected], Gigabyte 1080ti, P3Dv5.1
January 10, 201214 yr DWC mode will give you more functional control over the actual winds. There are some limitations to this mode and so you have the option of choosing between DWC , Standard, Smooth depicition modes.
