After a reinstall and tweak of FSX, I no longer get the text display on the bottom left that indicates brakes, parking brakes, overspeed, etc. What have I turned off? Thanks.Dan Cole

FSX.CFG file [Display] section has your answer. Mine has these lines in it:InfoBrakesEnable=FalseInfoPauseEnable=TrueInfoSlewEnable=TrueInfoStallEnable=FalseInfoOverspeedEnable=FalseIIRC correctly there is one line that will turn all those messages on or off but the syntax has slipped my mind.

Thanks, John, but all of those entries are there.
