January 22, 201214 yr I need to tune to ATC at 119.63. However, neither with my Reality XP GNS530 nor with the Carenado GNS430 / GNS530 it is possible to set this frequeny. There is a gap between 119.625 and 119.65, and ATC does not respond.Who can help?Michael Michael Thesen MSFS, HP Reverb G2, Gigabyte B760 32Gb, Samsung 970 EVO, Geforce RTX 4070-TI, Win11, i7-14700KF, Thrustmaster T16000M, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
January 22, 201214 yr Well the com radios is going up in increments of .025 from as far ago as I can remember so that seem to be 100% correct to get 119.650 as the next one after 119.625.for which place do you need 119.63 so that I can help you check that as I suspect you have wrong frequency ?
January 22, 201214 yr 8.33kHz spacing has been introduced in 1999 in Europe so it should be possible to tune 119.630. Edited January 22, 201214 yr by bstolle
January 22, 201214 yr Author @bliksimpie:On a flight from EDDT (Berlin-Tegel) to EDDH (Hamburg-Fuhlsbuettel) ProFlight Emulator ATC directs me to departure frequency 119.63. When flying the default Cessna, all works well. However, the Malibu is unable to contact departure.Michael Michael Thesen MSFS, HP Reverb G2, Gigabyte B760 32Gb, Samsung 970 EVO, Geforce RTX 4070-TI, Win11, i7-14700KF, Thrustmaster T16000M, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals

My default cessna 172 also steps in 0.025 incrementsSorry mate cant help you. Maybe Brent might be able to shed some light for us on the subject. I must say I am interested to find what is going on. maybe a setting somewhere that I dont know of. I am sure someone here will be able to help.Edit2:I have gone through about 10 add on planes now that have all custom radios etc like realair duke and I cannot find one that can dial 119.63 Edited January 22, 201214 yr by bliksimpie
January 22, 201214 yr Author bliksimpie,it is not that I dial the 119.63 manually, this is indeed impossible. The "virtual co-pilot" of PFE does this. Thereafter, 119.63 shows up in the radio display and the connection is established (but unfortunatelly not in the Malibu).Michael Michael Thesen MSFS, HP Reverb G2, Gigabyte B760 32Gb, Samsung 970 EVO, Geforce RTX 4070-TI, Win11, i7-14700KF, Thrustmaster T16000M, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
January 22, 201214 yr On the RXP GNS go to page "SETUP 1". Select the bottom menu item "COM Configuration". Change "CHANNEL SPACING" from 25.0 kHz to 8.33 kHz.I don't know about the Carenado GNS. Marc Musgrove
January 23, 201214 yr Thanks Demuss, then most probably you can just open the rxp .ini file in malibu folder and make chnage there also if you know what to change. The fact that it work in his default cessna maybe the .ini was set there to 8.33 but when he set up the malibu he did set up the radio as 25.0 kHz.Maybe just compare the two .ini files. should be easy to spot. January 23, 201214 yr Author Marc, under the AUX menu of the RealityXP GNS530 I found the COM Settings. I did as you wrote and - another problem solved!Thank you,Michael Michael Thesen MSFS, HP Reverb G2, Gigabyte B760 32Gb, Samsung 970 EVO, Geforce RTX 4070-TI, Win11, i7-14700KF, Thrustmaster T16000M, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
January 23, 201214 yr Great - glad that worked. The RXP GNS really is a great simulation of the real thing and I'm grateful Carenado has supported its integration with the last couple of planes. I wish they'd do the same for the RXP STEC autopilot. Marc Musgrove
