  1. I completed my first flight from EDDW to EKCH after the update. All went fine. I found only one inaccuracy: Although I had programmed the FMS to ILS Rwy 04R approach and Nav Autotune was hooked, it did not automatically set the ILS to 109.30/37°. Btw, no third party EKCH. Michael
  2. Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) Release Notes - Sim Update 16.1 [1.39.12.0] Now Available (Beta): Fixed empty Vector Shape corrupting GPU allocations (was causing crashes while flying over the southern island of New Zealand if WU 12 was installed and DirectX 12 was used). Michael
  3. I fell in love with the Digital Aviation Fokker 70-100 for FSX. It had the first FMS which I learned to tackle. I was fascinated by the green font of its CDU. Sadly, it never got the promised Virtual Cockpit. Finally, we are getting something much better. Michael
  4. For those who suffer from mid flight freezes, make sure that you fill the FMC POS INIT page before entering a route. 1. Click GPS POS. Now, INIT POS will be populated and highlighted in yellow. 2. Click SENSORS INIT and the colour will change from yellow to green. Michael
  5. It appears that it does not have PNF callouts (takeoff power set, 80 knots, clamp, V1, rotate, positive climb, gear up, flaps retract). On my side, the default callouts are blocked until the package is uninstalled. Michael
  6. I am eagerly waiting for a realistic geared turboprop model: in the real TPE331, pulling back the condition levers in flight would slow the gas stream through the engine core. As a result, the temperature of the hot section would rise so much that the engine got on fire. Michael
  7. Noel, I also do not understand the permanent criticism regarding the FMC, autopilot, stability and so on. I love to fly it as much as my other tubeliners (PMDG, Fenix, Leonardo MD82, Justflight F28). Looking forward to the update, Michael
  8. Fenix support has confirmed the issue. Michael
  9. Why does the Fenix App always show the changelog of the previous version instead of the actual version? Mchael
  10. Will my world and city updates be downloaded or are they be addressed from the cloud? Michael
  11. I also got a 4 USD discount because I invested my accumulated "A2A Flying Hours". When purchasing the Comanche, I got another 50 A2A Flying Hours towards future purchases from their store. Michael
  12. Sadly, I will not be able to fly this bird: they state that it needs Windows 64bit. Michael
  13. Jim, it installs separately and does not disturb the old version. I just finished my first flight (EDDL to EDDH). This bird is so fast. I was sweating to keep ahead of her. Michael
  14. I have just found a workaround: load the saved flight, let the systems initialize, thereafter manually load the panel state that is associated with this flight. Michael
  15. No, I had deleted all my 777 flights before installing SP1. Michael

I have completed the tutorial several times successfully (FMS programmed exactly as per the instructions). Now, I have saved the tutorial flight shortly before reaching TOD. When I reload this flight, the engines spool down and airspeed drops dangerously but VNAV does not descend, master warning siren starts, engine oil temperature climbs to red, electric, hydraulic and other failures are produced and so on. When I load this same flight and descend manually using MCP-speed and V/S, everything is fine. Michael

    Excuse me, double post Michael
  18. Do I have to un-install version 1.1 before installing 1.2? Michael
  19. Yesterday, on the tutorial flight from CYZD to KEWR the following happened: established on final ILS Ryw 22L I became to slow and received the stall warning. I immediately disconnected the autopilot. The autopilot warning sound was there but still it was impossible to steer by hand. The elevator was frozen until I repeatedly switched the autopilot on and off. Can someone comment? Michael
  20. Reset the eyepoint (Ctrl + Spacebar) Michael
  21. Please disregard my post: the eyepoint was to far back depending on the way the flight had been loaded. Michael

Sorry for starting another mouse issue thread: if I load a saved flight (i.e. the tutorial flight), buttons and switches cannot be operated by mouse (no mouse hand, only mouse arrow). On the contrary, if I load the T7 from the default flight (using the standard trike) and therafter go to the departure airport, mouse function is fine. I am running the latest version of FSUIPC. Michael
  23. Brian, do you have FSUIPC installed? It gives a repeated chime warning when free memory becomes critically low. Michael
  24. Here is the new Dash Q400 page (and the release date): http://majesticsoftware.com/mjc8q400/index.html Michael
  25. I have the PMDG JS41 and it is stunning. My next Turboprop will be the Majestic Dash 8 Q400 which is in Beta test now: https://www.facebook...249628718485404 Michael
