January 16, 20251 yr Looks like the Aerosoft CRJ will finaly get some love. Here is a Preview Video of the upcoming Update
January 16, 20251 yr I saw this but didn't end up posting it as I Felt the video didn't really show enough to be excited, which I'm sure there is as we'll see eventually. None the less, I'm really curious to see what the update will have cause, I did enjoy flying the CRJ and would like to add it back to my roster. The modelling was fantastic and in tandem with Boris's sounds this aircraft could really get the spark back. However, let's see what Aerosoft can do. Edited January 16, 20251 yr by Lucky38i
January 16, 20251 yr With their track record, i'll wait until it's in the hands of fellow sim pilot's. Hopefully it's taken a good leap forward. AMD Ryzen 7800x3d 64gb DDR5, Sapphire 7900 GPU MSSI Tomahawk AM5 M/Board. 1x 4tb Crucial M.2 SSD, 3x 2tb Crucial M.2 SSD's
January 16, 20251 yr Last I heard the AS CRJ still had quite a few unfixed bugs on the systems side, despite having been released several years ago? I believe Hans Hartmann programmed it (he also did the Digital Aviation Fokker 100 and Flight1 ATR72 back on FS2004, and the current Asobo ATR) and my understanding is there's a bit of a reputation for him leaving some longstanding bugs or incomplete features? Having said that, he's responsible for some of my favourite addons. January 16, 20251 yr It would be very nice if they fixed the TCAS range scaling. Hopefully that will be included in the changelog. Looking forward to the update.

I haven't purchased an Aerosoft product since the twin Otter. Normally I would buy an aircraft like this at release, but I too will have to be convinced of its quality first. January 16, 20251 yr Eh. Kinda burned out on Aerosoft's approach to addon support. They release something, full of bugs and leave it like that for months or years, then you realize said update is also full of problems, it gets a hotfix or two and then it's again left in this wonky state. Doesn't really make me want to commit to their planes. January 16, 20251 yr That CRJ is 3 yrs old and they’re just getting around to fixing it? It was the first payware product I purchased for 2020 and I will NEVER purchase an airplane from Aerosoft ever again. I was literally awful. I really wanted to like the CRJ but the nav and AP bugs were just too much so I haven't flown it more than a handful of times. At this point I suspect the real CRJ's will be phased out of service before Aerosoft gets the bugs fixed. January 16, 20251 yr Basically they updated the EFB and created a walkable cabin. Not much meat on this one IMO. Gary i9-13900K, Asus RTX 4080, Asus Z790 Plus Wi-Fi, 32 GB Ram, Seasonic GX-1000W, LG C1 48” OLED 4K monitor, Quest 3 VR

January 16, 20251 yr Nice. I love this aircraft. Maybe I'm not that picky but I don't have much problem with it. It's not Fenix or PMDG quality but it's ok. (at least for me)
January 16, 20251 yr Don't get me wrong, if they do sort the Nav issues, it has the potential to be a great aircraft in the sim, and one that really should be up there if they put the effort in to get it right. Here's hoping. AMD Ryzen 7800x3d 64gb DDR5, Sapphire 7900 GPU MSSI Tomahawk AM5 M/Board. 1x 4tb Crucial M.2 SSD, 3x 2tb Crucial M.2 SSD's

I understand how the algorithm works but if you don't have enough content to create a video putting 6 minutes of fluff to hit the ideal 9 minute video length is a little bit of a turn off.
