I can’t speak of the AMD, but I upgraded from a 10700K to a 14700K, paired with a 4090, runs extremely well with most addons plus AI. I’m very happy with it.

I am surprisingly enjoying what I've seen so far. Still trying to get used to the EFB and still trying to find some LVARs for Mobiflight for certain inputs, but it's definitely an upgrade in my eyes. I still prefer the FENIX EFB, but other than that I have no complaints.

I just received the throttle and flaps this week, what a great piece of equipment! Using manual thrust is so incredibly rewarding now. Setting it up wasn’t that bad, FENIX for instance has a guide on their website which takes you through each step to configure the hardware with their airplane. All in all, extremely happy with the purchase.

Agreed, GSX is such an immersive product. People just like to complain, plain and simple. Too many updates, too few updates, too much eye candy, too little eye candy etc. I for one am happy about the fact that there are so many available custom made profiles if you’re looking for something as realistic as possible. Some people just feel good about constantly complaining

Some people are just so miserable. Isn’t it tiring to be so extremely negative and toxic? The dude had a great time in the video, and the landing wasn’t bad at all. Let the dude enjoy it.

I appreciate the update, howewer the TCAS range was not fixed, in actuality it made it worse. Traffic 5 miles away is showing 2.5 miles, 10 miles away showing 5 etc. At least they have been working on improving the product. *Edit - Aside from that, it flies beautifully.

You can use a software called Mobiflight, where the latest beta supports more aircraft, and where you can use the MCDU for Boeing aircraft and vice versa if you wanted to. Very nice tool!

I’m truly having such a blast flying this plane. I’m on 2020, and haven’t really had any significant issues so far with the new update. Charts are working on the OIS, gear noise is gone during approach, and flight model seems improved as well.

I don’t know the official answer to this, but I’ve created two “parameters.xml” files, one for 2020 and one for 2024 and then use the one you need before you start the simulator. This has been working good for me.

Same timeline for me, just checked now and it’s showing in Jersey. I figured it’d update once it got to the US. Hopefully by the end of tomorrow it’ll be delivered.

It’s 36$ per product I’m assuming. I got the mcdu and 737 FMC, paid 72$ for shipping.

It would be very nice if they fixed the TCAS range scaling. Hopefully that will be included in the changelog. Looking forward to the update.

“All changes apply to both 2024 and 2020 versions of the aircraft unless otherwise mentioned. Loads of tasty changes within, some highlights: 1 - 4x SimRate is now supported (experimentally)” This was the only thing missing for me with the FENIX, and I’m super excited about it!

I’m probably in the minority but if they include the time jump feature that they had in P3D, as well as the ability to do 4-8x sim rate, I’m probably buying it. That’s the only thing missing for me from the FENIX. The FENIX is definitely my most used addon, but honestly feel limited to doing shorter flights unfortunately. But like I said, I know I’m in the minority.

Very exciting! Hoping they can eventually find time to make 4x simrate possible, especially now that we’ll have access to a plane that commonly does transcons.

Check your realism settings, if I remember it correctly, you have to set the General slider to max.

I've heard the horror stories about the security interviews but it's a bullet I have to bite. Being a regional pilot is not something that is working out too good for me, with a little daughter and wife at home that I have to be away from all the time, so a career change is definitely welcomed for me and my family. As soon as you certify, you can always put in an ERR to go to a a center. How long that takes is a different story, but as long as you have your foot in the door, then I wouldn't worry too much about initial placement. Let us know how it goes! Alex Gil

Roland, Thanks for bringing such a fantastic product to your fellow simmers! Your work is greatly appreciated! I love the idea of allowing the program to control AI all the way to the approach phase, and even allowing them to fly customized approaches such as the river visual into dca as well as the expressway visual into lga. Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to seeing the future updates!
