January 22, 201214 yr You can close the program and FS will have a certain amount of weather until you fly out of the weather radius zone.
January 22, 201214 yr Guys, come to the serious side please: I want open AS2012 without any weather updating, not initially, not later on.
January 23, 201214 yr I don't know an easy solution...Just a "workaround": don't know if it helps:start ASE and FSXthen, go to task manager and end the process "FSX.exe"Start FSX again (AS2012 is still running)Simconnect should now be interrupted ... till you restart AS2012(all above is just a guess, but try it) Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
January 23, 201214 yr Hmm, I'll tinker with the paths. But I imagine at startup AS2012 might be checking for fsx.exe. I could create a folder with a fake exe and point the program there...
January 23, 201214 yr Can you give us a sane reason why you are trying to do this?anyway, you could try to restrict as2012 local network access thus breaking the link to simconnect
