Active Sky Enhanced not loading anymore

I realize I am not giving you much info to work with, but then again I can't tell you anything!Yesterday I was flying happily with FS9 and of course using ASE. Closed it down in the evening and having experienced no issue whatsoever. Fired up the computer and tried starting ASE and after about 4-5 seconds I get a message "ASE has stopped working". I have restarted the computer of course, uninstalled ASE, rebooted and then installed my ASE-Full_B566 file again. Same result, the program doesn't start. I have never experienced this before, not with windows 7 or any other OS.I install to the folder c:\microsoft games\hifi but also tried the default installation folder. I try to "run ad administrator" but to no avail. I haven't even touched the computer since shutting it down yesterday and starting it today again.I probably could load an image of the partition that I created a few days ago where ASE was installed and working, but I have been re-installing FS9 and don't want to repeat everyting I have already done. Again, no installations after ASE worked yesterday.Do you have any suggestions what I could try? Any debugger I can activate? I use Win7 64 btw.

A little update. The first time I installed ASE using the ASE-FULL-B566 installer. I got it working until it stopping loading today. I now tried re-installing everything but starting from ActiveSky 2004 and all the way up to Active Sky Advanced. They all load so at least I can use ASA, but having installed ASE 566 it again refused to load. Not sure it is of any help but anyway....

No suggestion from the crew? I realize of course it's hard to give an answer with substance since I am not able to give more info, and we just had a weeken, but I'd appreciate some kind of response! An "sorry, but we have no clue" would do it if that is the case! :D

Have you looked in the Windows Event Viewer to see if any error code is thrown by the app when it shuts down?DJ

I haven't but of course it's a good suggestion and I'll check it out tonight. I have actually just tried using procmon and processmonitor to try and figure something out but I guess I couldn't interpret the data anyway! :D
