ASE and FSBuild Winds

Featured Replies

Hmm, Very peculiar Bob because in my case both FsFlightkeeper and FSBuild report the same results. It is only ASE that is coming back with completely bogus wind predictions on the briefing page after I file a flight plan... Like I said, it calculated my FP above at the time and date reported as a wind component of 0. FSFK said a headwind of 54 kts as did FSBuild and sure enough I have had a steady 50kt headwind for 3 1/2 hours now.So the error seems to be with ASE's internal calculations used for the briefing summary, not what it is reporting to external apps, that appears correct!

Yep, happened again today, doing KEWR-LLBG and ASE told me I had a 45kt wind component. FSB and FSFK calculated 70kt tailwind. That is a HUGE discrepancy in ASE's internal calculations opposed to the data it is sending out, especially on a 10 hour flight!...
