January 30, 201214 yr Hi,just about to purchase some fantastic kit out on the market. And very excited now seeing LINDA and its capabilities.A few questions.first is does anyone have any luck or experience with how the QW757 is with LINDA or is there coding very difficult to assign buttons? e.g. lights, engine start.Secondly with LINDA can I say setup my throttle with FSUIPC and then my other joysticks with LINDA without conflict. Also out of the 10 assignable joysticks the ones that I assign purely through FSUIPC are not counted?best regards and very excited to try this software out!Philip
January 30, 201214 yr Hello Philip,I haven't the QW 757, so I can't say athing here, sorry!LINDA does not support your axes, so there is no problem with your throttles. These are still just assignable through FSUIPC.You can use LINDA also just for one specific addon as you wish and use the other with FSUIPC.However, I'm sure you'll switch soon completely to LINDA(important here to say, that LINDA is not in competition to FSUIPC - LINDA IS FSUIPC ... in a way :( )I think, the easiest way would be you download and try LINDA.Before you install, backup your complete modules folder. Delete then your current FSUIPC4.ini (you have it backupped!) and start FSX (a new FSUIPC4.ini will be generated). Install the LINDA and try it out.If you are not satisfied, you could easily copy back your old modules folder.Absolutely no risk with it and takes just a few seconds... Also out of the 10 assignable joysticks the ones that I assign purely through FSUIPC are not counted?Sorry, I do not understand here, what you mean.LINDA recognises the same joystick as FSUIPC does. There is a limit of 10 devices for LINDA (however, this limit is just for the GUI, you can use more, however it is not very practical)Günter Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
January 31, 201214 yr Author Thanks for the info! Can I just ask if I have 1 computer for fsx and 10 cards using LINDA, toggle switches, rotary switches, push buttons. Will this slow down the performance noticeably on fsx?
February 1, 201214 yr Commercial Member LINDA influence on FSX performance is not noticeable and doesn't depend on number of devices.
