Looking for new challenges - any difficult approaches I don't know yet?

Featured Replies

HiOne of the things I like the most about flightsimming is that I can do difficult approaches. Trouble is that I am running out of them. I have looked up some websites and done them all, and Doherty's DAAD has many ones that are actually quite boring so I don't bother with them. Also I want them to have commercial aviation go there, not just GA.So which ones should I try? Which airports are really challenging in terms of approach/landing?I have appended an overview over the ones that I already useThanks

  1. VQPR,
  2. SEQU RWY 35,
  3. PHNL RWY 26L RNAV.

Cheers,- jahman.

Define commercial aviation. If it's anything other than US Part 91 (or equivalent), try the VOR/DME RWY 15 into KMTN. Some Part 135 operators go in and out of there. With an almost 7,000 ft runway, you can get a 737 in there without a problem.Real challenge, turn your visibility, pick the approach up from SLOAF and fly it raw data, then go missed and fly the missed raw data as well.Might not be challenging terrain, or an awe inspiring view, but makes the sweat form.
