I have managed to make a b****up of my default Skyhawk and to avoid having to reinstall FSX to get this aircraft back again can someone either advise me of a source or email me a copy if I pm my address. Many thanksGeorge

What exactly did you break? Running FSX repair should fix it, no reinstall needed

tried to mod airgraft.cfg and some textures - wanted to remove G1000

To point out the obvious, ALWAYS make a backup copy of any file before messing with it :-)The G1000 172 is a seperate plane from the standard 172, its simpler to just not select it. However now that you hosed the plane, did you mess with just the .cfg or did you also hose the texture files? if so which one, or all of them? Need to know exactly what files are broke. Do you see any of the 172's in the plane selection screen?
