February 2, 201214 yr Loss of battery power in default B747-400. I had this problem before and got round it by starting the engines straight away at the gate. Now I have just installed GSX and it requires that it be done the correct way, during or after pushback. All instruments go dead after about 5 mins and engines cant be started. I read somewhere that it can be fixed by altering or adding a line "electric_always_available=1" in the aircraft.cfg file but I think this was for FS2004. Any help will be most appreciated.
February 2, 201214 yr Sam in FSX, Ray: under[Electrical]electric_always_available =0 or 1 "0" = she's going flat, and "1" - it's a great battery! February 2, 201214 yr Moderator Yes, but keep in mind then that this "tweak" will kill the battery switch entirely, meaning no more "cold and dark" will be possible...There is a price for everything!
