Run Time Errors Radar Contact

Featured Replies

I recently installed FSX and Radar Contact (Windows 7 64 bit) . Recived an error when trying to run RC that a dll was missing (MSStdmft.dll). Resolved that issue and RC loads correctly.Encountered 2 other issues after opening RC - and clicking on the volume for the airline or company name to hear the call letters, I get the Runtime error 75 - "RadarContact.rcv4module.atc_ack..If I launch FS and RC and at the gate, and attempt to contact ground control by pressing one from the display screen, I get Runtime Error 75 RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code.I have the latest version of fsuipc installed (just downloaded it today). I also uninstalled RC V4.3 and reinstalled it (Funny - it loaded without having to register it again) but got the same runtime error messages. Anybody have any suggestions

First make sure RC is at version 4.3 build 3845. Next make sure that FSUIPC4 base and interim update versions are installed from the links pinned at the forum top. If you reinstalled RC it might not be the latest. You need a shortcut to rcv4.exe with its property set to run as admin. This is an application access level as opposed to a user access level. That is similar to right clicking on RCv4.exe and selecting run as admin.Make sure that your RC4 folder is not read-only nor any of the files under it.Security applications can also cause these access problems. Be sure RCv4 and FSX itself are bypassed or are allowed full access privileges in these security applications. If you go to the voices selection tab in RC and select one and press the speaker icon does it play OK?Reply if these problems continue.

are you running rc as admin? right mouse clicking the .exe or shortcut, and clicking run as admin?

Thank you - Run as admin did the trick!
