February 8, 201214 yr Guys,I searched but did not find the problem I am having. I just bought and downloaded FSX yesterday. When I start up FSX the everything looks great. You can change the options and anything you want. BUT when go to fly the screen flashes a few times then a black screen comes up on the left hand portion of the desktop. The program does not crash. February 8, 201214 yr I having kind of the same issue here only on win7 32; My specs. are not great for running FSX, I jsut installed and run Alacrity together with Paul J a few days ago and that has helped enourmously.(20 FPS)! Thank you Paul! :( ... But I get the screen splits in to two halves, one black and the other white depending on what command I've given the sim to do

April 9, 201214 yr I continue to have this partila blaxk screen, it covers half the screen whne I go and use the menus,thne they load and I can continue with what I'm doing be it changinf planes, getting weather etc...
