February 9, 201214 yr Hi guys, I am aware that to install FS9 it need to be installed OS program files folder, I have a 64 bit system is that a issue? Can I install it onto the same HD that fsx is on ie Folder FS9 as install folder directory. or does it have to be separate HD? I believe there's a tweak to allow it to read more than 2GB ram, where would I find this? What's the maximum RAM it can read? Many thanks. February 9, 201214 yr You can put it anywhere, and beside of FSX.Search the forums for LARGE ADRESS AWARE for more memory usage.
February 9, 201214 yr Do NOT install FS9 into the "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" folders on a Win7 64bit system. Create your own folder somewhere (eg: C:My Programs) and install into that. Disable UAC first, and install using administrator priveleges and you should have no problems. There is a patch available that will make FS9.exe large address aware, but I do not have that link with me at the moment - sorry. Graeme Butler
