Hmmmm....I managed to start the APU and keep it running wihtout any fuel pumps selected....is this normal or does the APU draw fuel anyway?
the 737 ng apu has its own dc operated fuel pump on the No. 1 (left) fuel tank. For apu long operations is recommended to use the left tank after fuel pump to increase the life of the apu fuel pump.
