February 13, 201214 yr I have a new computer (64bit Win 7 Pro) that I am attempting to install RC on. I posted for help end of Dec, but then was gone for a month without resolution. Back now still trying to resolve the problem. I enter the registration code I received in Dec, being careful with no back spaces, and start the program as administrator. After entry, the screen disappears after a couple of seconds. Appreciate your help getting Radar Contact back up.
February 13, 201214 yr Commercial Member 3 things1 is there a minus sign in front of the product id? did you include the minus sign, or leave it out, of the key request?2 did you start rc, by right mouse clicking the .exe or shortcut? logging in as admin, or an account with admin rights isn't enough.3 when you pasted the key into the key field, is there any trailing blanks, or leading blanks? the key should be nothing but letters. no spaces or special characters.if you still have problem, send me a screen shot of the registration screen, with the product id and the key pasted into the key field. i'll tell you what's wrong.jd JD Read my blog
